RACCS Points System
So how does this points thing work? Cats must be owned by RACCS members to qualify for points, with points allocated for wins at GCCF and GCCFI shows
as published on the GCCF website (see the tables further down this page). The RACCS points year runs from 1 January to 31 December.
For pedigree cats we automatically calculate your cat's points: for
the household pets competition please submit details of your cat's wins to
COTY@raccs.co.uk .
The winners are
listed on the RACCS website at the end of each year when all the points have
been totted up. Prizes for the top cats in each category are awarded at the
RACCS AGM.
How many points can you win?
The tables below show the number of points allocated for placings and awards gained at GCCF shows. More points are awarded for cats winning at the Supreme show in recognition of its status. There are more points awarded for wins at our own shows too of course!
The number of points awarded depends on the prizes your cat wins. For example, if your cat wins 1st place in their Breed class, plus the Premier Certificate and Best of Breed, they would be awarded 10 RACCS points (1st & PC=5, BoB =5).
