RACCS Points System
So how does this points thing work? Firstly, cats must be owned by RACCS members to qualify for points. The points are allocated for wins at GCCF shows. The points allocated for awards gained at GCCF shows are shown in the tables further down this page.

The RACCS points year will run from 1st January to 31st December and we hope to offer awards for all the Club breed colours, with a small prize. Winners will be listed on the RACCS website at the end of each year when all the points have been counted.

Send us your show results
The RACCS website publishes Abyssinian and Russian show results in the Show Results section. These results are sent in by club members and list all the Open and Grand class placings for all the Abyssinians or Russian Blues at each show. It is important to include all the placings gained by both Russians and Abyssinians to give a clear picture of how well represented the two breeds are, so even if you only show Abyssinians, please record the Russian results and vice versa.

We will only post complete results on the RACCS website for each show and points will only be counted from the published reports, so please keep this in mind when marking up your results on show day. When you have completed your list of Open, Grand and Imperial class winners for the show you have attended please e-mail us: raccs@hotmail.co.uk to ensure all your cats points are counted. Scans or photocopies of the show catalogue with results marked are ideal to ensure you include all the required details.

How many points can you win?
The tables below show the number of points allocated for placings and awards gained at GCCF shows. Additional points are awarded for cats winning at a specialist breed show (ie the ACC, ACA or RBBA shows) and the Supreme shows in recognition of their status. (Points gained by members cats at GCCFI shows in Ireland are also counted).

The amount of points gained depends on what prizes your cat wins. For example, if your cat wins 1st place in their Open class, plus the Best of Breed award and a Premier Certificate, they would be awarded 7 RACCS points (1st = 3, PC = 2, BoB =2).
