19.07.08 - Edinburgh and East of Scotland Cat Club
There was a great entry of 18 Abyssinians and 6 Russian Blues today, winning 15 certificates and 10 Best of Breed awards between them. It was definitely a day for blue cats, be they Russian or Abyssinian, with the two new RACCS title-holders both being Blue Abyssinians and Best in Show wins for the Russian Blue kitten and Russian Blue neuter. Special congratulations are therefore due to:
- Grand Champion Nishalka Khu Miw-Sher (23c), on winning her third Grand certificate and title
- Champion and Premier Pontaby Campanula (23c), on winning her third Premier certificate and title
- Dushenka Xander (16a), at 6 ½ months winning his fourth Best of Breed, 1st prize in all his classes and winning Best in Show Foreign Kitten
- Imperial Grand Premier Shoelina Rostropovitch (16a), who at 6 years old won another Imperial Grand certificate, 1st prize in all his classes, Best in Show Foreign and overall Best Exhibit in Show
