  15 December 2018 - Maidstone & Medway Cat Club show
The last GCCF show of the calender year saw 7 Abyssinians in 6 different colours, and 12 Russian Blues entered - although there were a couple of absentees. All Best of Breeds were awarded, but the big winner of the day and RACCS Star of the Show again was the one and only Supreme UK OBIGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b) who won his first Silver Oly, Best of Breed, Best Section 4 Adult, BIS Adult and Overall Best in Show. Huge congratulations to Javier and his proud owner/breeder!
 
     
  8 December 2018 - National Cat Club show
There were just two Abyssinians and one Russian Blue in the placings at the National show , with special congratulations due to our new title holder Imperial Grand Premier Abydreames Graffiti Bridge (ABY n) . Well done Bertie!
 
     
 

17-18 November 2018 - Cheshire show; RUS and NEB special in France, shows in Australia
Great results from the Cheshire show where there were five Russians and two Abyssinians competing, with a notable breed first, a BOV winner and a red card day winner. First of all, huge congratulations to the GCCF's first-ever Imperial titled Russian Black:
- Imperial Grand Champion Brightlite Inki Black (RUS n), now coming up for 7 years old, and as beautiful as ever
Congratulations also to:
- Dushenka Zinevra (RUS a) who on her show debut at 16 weeks old was Best of Breed and 1st in all her classes - a 'red card' day and to her grandmother:
- IGrCh & IGrPr Dushenka Belucia (RUS a) who was Best Section 4 Neuter, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit, and in the final two at overall best in show!

Huge congratulations go to Yudita Yelena Dunoe (RUS a) who at a breed special in Douai, France was Best Russian, and the overall winner out of 39 Russian Blues and Nebelungs: Best Nebelung was Oop Bop Sh'Bam du Fort de la Bosse Marniere (NEB).
And in Australia, at the CatsWA show at Osborne Park Kimara Azar Whistling Jack (RUS a) was 3rd Best Desexed Cat in one ring and Supreme Exhibit in the other ring: at the last FCCQ show of 2018 gorgeous George won a third Best Shorthair Desexed Cat and Best Shorthair Desexed Cat, finishing the year in style!

 
     
 

10-11 November 2018 - Cumberland/Yorkshire shows; Blue Persian show; news from New Zealand
At the Cumberland and Yorkshire double show there were 9 Abyssinians and 13 Russian Blues entered, plus a RACCS pet, with 9 cats winning in both shows, 4 new title winners, a full set of pedigree best of variety winners, and three cats ending up in BIS pens too. Many congratulations to:
- Imperial Grand Champion Miakush Asgier Zeus (RUS a) on winning his qualifying Imperial certificate
- Grand Champion Melkelter Tsetsiliya (RUS a) won the Grand certificate in both shows and her new title
- GrCh Abychat Vogue (ABY o) won the Imperial and Best of Breed in both shows
- GrCh Linczozo Pas de Chat (ABY a) won the reserve Imperial and Imperial and was Best of Breed in both shows
- Ch Aucuparia's Julius won the Grand certificate in both shows
- Abydreames Khaleen (ABY n) won Best of Breed in both shows on her show debut
- Linczozo Lima Oscar (ABY c) won Best of Breed in both shows

- Champion Koreshka Olexsei Bluesky (RUS a) who won the Challenge certificate in both shows and his title, plus Best of Breed and Best Section 4 Adult in the Cumberland show
- IGrPr Melkelter Andris Kuzma (RUS a) - Best Section 4 Neuter in the Cumberland show
- IGrPr Shoelina Diamond Jubilee (RUS a) Best Section 4 Neuter in the Yorkshire show
- IGMC Oliver (NPS) was Best in Colour in both shows and Overall Best in Show Pet in the Cumberland show
- Supreme UK Olympian Bronze IGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b) was Best of Breed in both shows, won the reserve Olympian and Olympian certificates and his Bronze title, and went on to be Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in the Yorkshire show.
- Melkelter Bezruchka (RUS a) was Best of Breed in both shows, Best Section 4 kitten in both shows and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in the Cumberland show
On the same day at the Blue Persian show Supreme Pet Tigeress continued her winning ways, winning Best in Colour and Best Non-Pedigree Pet - and in New Zealand the next day, special congratulations are due to Nibbles, Gold DblGrCh Kimara Metallica Blu Sumfin Special who at the NZCF Annual Awards was named Top Shorthair Entire Cat!

27-28 October 2018 - The Supreme Show; shows in Australia and the Netherlands
There were thrilling results at the GCCF's own show, the Supreme, aka the 'Feline Crufts'. There were 29 cats of RACCS breeds entered, 16 Russians and 13 Abyssinians, with all 16 possible certificates awarded, 7 new title winners - including four new UK winners - three placings at best of variety, and a doubly Supremely thrilling finale to the day!

But it didn't stop there, as it was time to break out the banners and celebrate big-style as we saw only the second-ever Abyssinian in the 42 year history of the Supreme Show win the Supreme title....
- Supreme UK IGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b) - Supreme Adult 2018 and joint Reserve Supreme Exhibit!! Javier was the most superb ambassador for the breed, kissing and purring his way to success. Huge congratulations to Javier and his proud owner/breeder XxXxX
Not to be outdone, over in the Household Pet section equally huge congratulations go to the Supreme Household Pet Kitten winner, Supreme Kitten Tigeress, who equally purred and kissed her way to Supreme Success!!
In Australia there were great results from two different shows: at the Cats Qld show, gorgeous George aka Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special, was on top form as ever, winning three Best in Show Shorthair Alter awards and overall Supreme Shorthair Exhibit - well done lad! And in West Australia at the COAWA's two-ring Halloween show there was more great show news with Champion Bluebebop Jazz Aria winning her qualifying challenge certificates for her title (you need six in Australia!), Ch Bluebebop Atavachron won both Challenges and reserve Best Foreign Shorthair, and 3rd Best Desexed Foreign Shorthair going to GrPr Bluebebop Jazz Fantasy (RUS a). This being a Halloween show there were special awards for Best Black Cat, that honour being won by Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n), who was also 3rd Best Entire Foreign Shorthair. And over in the Netherlands there were two more new title winners: Champion Regalrussians Bear (RUS a) and Champion Alyona Czarskaya Kira (RUS a). Congratulations to one and all!

 
     
  20-21 October 2018 - Kentish Cat Society show; show in Australia; show in Belgium; Dutch COTY results
There were four Abyssinians and four Russian Blues entered at the Kentish show, with all best of breeds being awarded and special congratulations being due to the new title winer, and the best of variety winner:
- Grand Champion Lubimiyeh Goluboi Sonya (RUS a) won her third, and qnalifying Grand certificate and was also Best of Breed
- Linczozo Lima Oscar (ABY c) was Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten!
At a show in Zandhoven in Belgium the following day there was a Russian and Nebelung 'Special' which was won by IP Sansa of House Targaryen, who then went on to win Overall Best in Show too - huge congratulations to this pretty Nebelung girl and her proud owner/breeder.
On the same day, there was a three-ring show in W Australia, with three cats winning their certificates in all three rings, and three cats achieving Top 10 placings too. Many congratulations to:
- Bluebebop Oscar Peterson (RUS n) - who won all three Challenge certificates at his first adult show
- Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n) - who also won all three Challenge certificates at her first adult show and also placed as reserve Best Group 3 Adult in Ring 2
- Ch Bluebebop Jacko Pastorius (RUS a) - also won all three Challenge certificates and won a reserve Best Group 3 Adult and 7th Group 3 Adult
- Diamond Gd Ch Bluebebop Jazz Suite (RUS a) was 3rd Best Group 3 Adult in two rings.
Exciting news from the Netherlands too, with two Russian Blues achieving 'breed bests' in the TopKat competition for all Dutch independent associations for 2017/18:
- EGIC Tyana Czar Luhezar was 3rd best Adult - the highest placing ever achieved by an entire Russian Blue
- Ch & Pr Kimara Sylvan Naleerah was Overall Best Neuter - making her the highest ranking Russian Bue since the competition started in 1986!
 
     
 

13 October 2018 - Edinburgh & East of Scotland CC show
There were seven Russian Blues and eight Abyssinians entered at the Edinburgh show, with some great results all round, including two new title winners and a best in show winner too.
Many congratulations to our new title winners:
- Imperial Grand Champion Dushenka Theodorus (RUS a), who won his fifth and qualifying Imperial certificate and Best of Breed
- Premier Dushenka Vanda Blue-Orchid (RUS a) won her third, and qualifying Premier certificate
Special congratulations go to IGrCh & IGrPr Dushenka Belucia (RUS a) who won the reserve Olympian, Best of Breed, 1st in her side classes and Best in Show Section 4 (Foreign) exhibit!

 
     
 

6-7 October 2018 - RBBA; LH & SLH show; show in the Netherlands
At the RBBA show on 6 October there were 35 Russians entered, in all three colours, every certificate at every level awarded, five 'red card day' winners placing 1st in every class, and both new and old faces in the Best in Show line-up. First of all, congratulations to the red card day winners:
- Troika Chastushka, enjoying a successful show debut at just over 4 months old in her 4 classes won 4 x 1st prizes
- GrPr Brightlite Slinky Malinki (RUS n) won the Imperial and 1st in his side classes
- Ch Melkelter Tsetsiliya won her Grand and 1st in her side classes
Many congratulations to the BOX winners:
- Best Male Russian Blue Adult: Larksong Last Tango, making a very successful show debut at 3 years old
- Best Male Russian Blue kitten: Sithee Dickybow Dandy, another very successful show debut, this time for both kitten and his proud owners!
- Best Female Russian Blue Neuter:- GrCh & IGrPr Melkelter Sybilla Luba
- Best Russian Black: Ch Brightlite Treacle Puddin' (RUS n) - repeating her success from last year, Treacle also enjoyed a red card day
Special congratulations to the Best in Show winners, a clean sweep for Melkelter in the Russian Blues!:
- Best in Show Russian Blue adult: IGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda
- Best in Show Russian Blue kitten: Melkelter Bezruchka, who also enjoyed a red card day
- Best in Show Russian Blue neuter: IGrPr Melkelter Andris Kuzma
- Best in Show Russian White or Black: Ch&Pr Catwo Biaty Pantera (RUS w 64). This was Poppy's fifth time in a BIS pen at the RBBA, after a gap of 5 years.
- Best in Show Pet: IGMC Oliver (NPS), in a Best in Show pen for the fourth year running!
Extra-special congratulations go to IGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda, who won Overall Best in Show Pedigree for the second year running!

At the LH & SLH show on the same day there were two Abyssinians entered, both of them winning their Best of Breed, and GrPr Abydreames Graffiti Bridge (ABY n) also winning the Imperial, Best Section 4 Neuter, and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit!

And over in the Netherlands, at the NRKV show in Wassenaar, huge congratulations are due to new title winner European Grand International Champion Tyana Czar Luhezar (RUS a) who won his latest title as well as Best of the Best Shorthair Exhibit. Very well done to the magnificent Louie and his proud owner!

 
     
 

22-23 September 2018 - North West Cat Club show; shows in Finland and Australia
There were 9 Abyssinians and 12 Russian Blues entered at the North West show with one new title winner and two best of variety winners:
- Champion Melkelter Tsetsiliya (RUS a) won her third Challenge certificate and title
- IGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda (RUS a) Best of Breed and Best Section 4 Adult
- Special congratulations go to Koreshka Oleksei Bluesky (RUS a) who won his seventh consecutive Best of Breed... and seventh consecutive best of variety too - Best Section 4 Kitten again!
Elsewhere, congratulations are also due to International Champion Abychat Whos-that-girl (ABY a) who travelled from Sweden to Finland to win her qualifying CACIB, and also qualified for the World Show.
And at the Cats Queensland show the next day in Australia gorgeous George, Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special (RUS a), had another wonderful day winning Best SH Desexed in two rings and 3rd best SH Dexed in another ring, plus two best SH Exhibit in Show and overall Supreme Shorthair Exhibit in Show - way to go George!

 
     
  15 September 2018 - Erin show
There were four Russian Blues in the placings at the Erin show in Northern Ireland , with special congratulations being due to new title-winner Champion Nezabudka Dunoe (RUS a) who won her third Challenge certificate and title.
 
     
 

8-9- September 2018 - Somerset/West Country shows; shows in the Netherlands and Australia
Great results all round from this weekend! At the Somerset and West Country shows it was a great day for Abyssinians, with eight cats in the placings, with five 'double' winners and two best of variety winners too.
- Ch Coppice Bluebell (ABY a) won the Grand certificate and Best of Breed in both shows
- Highlight Hannah (ABY fs) won her Merit and Best of Breed in both shows
- Syrinx Tatiana (ABY n) Best of Breed in both shows on her show debut
- Saivokattens Jesper (ABY s) Best of Breed in both shows on his show debut, and Best Section 4 (Foreign) kitten in the Somerset show - Jesper is the first Championship-status Silver Aby to be shown in the UK in four years!
And our Star of the Show
- Ch Highlight Mungojerrie (ABY b) who won the Grand and Best of Breed in both shows, and Best Section 4 (Foreign) adult in both shows too!
The following day in the Netherlands it was young Russian Blues doing the winning with Alyona Neomir Nikiforovitch winning his first CAC at his first adult show, BIV and nominated for BIS; Alyona Czarskaya Kira at her first adult show winning her first CAC, and Best in Show SH female adult; and Alyona Poema Pushkina on her show debut winning BIS SH female kitten and Best Foreign Shorthair, beating all the adults! On the same day at the Flash Felines show in Australia gorgeous George had another great day across four rings, winning Best in Show Desexed Shorthair, Reserve Best, 3rd Best and 5th Best.Desexed Shorthair!

 
     
  1 September 2018 - Wyvern show
There was just the one Russian entered at the Wyvern show, but he had a fantastic day - many congratulations to GrPr Brightlite Slinky Malinki (RUS n) who won the Imperial, Best of Breed and Best Section 4 (Foreign) neuter!
 
     
  25 August 2018 - Teesside show; West of England show
At the Teesside show up in the north-east, there were three Abyssinians and six Russian Blues entered with one new title winner and two best of variety winners too. Many congratulations to:
- Grand Champion Abychat Vogue (ABY o) on winning Best of Breed again and her qualifying Grand certificate in the minimum possible number of shows.
- Koreshka Olexsei Bluesky (RUS a) on winning his *sixth* consecutive Best Section 4/Foreign kitten!
- IGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda (RUS a) who won Best Section 4/Foreign Adult, and Best in Show Section 4 exhibit!
On the same day, down in the south-west at the West of England show there were just four Abyssinians in the placings - where were all the Russians?! - with special congratulations due to Premier Coppice Gideon (ABY a) who won his qualifying Premier Certificate and title.
 
     
  11-12 August 2018 - Chester & North Wales show; Three Counties show; shows in New Zealand and Australia
At the Chester show there were 6 Abyssinians and 17 Russians entered with two new titles and two best of variety winners too. Many congratulations to:
- Imperial Grand Premier Sithee Iggiepurrs (RUS a) who won his qualifying Imperial certificicate
- Grand Champion Linczozo Pas de Chat (ABY a) on winning his qualifying Grand certificate
- Grand Champion Melkelter Meta mathilda (RUS a) who also won her qualifying Grand certificate
- Ch & Premier Naughtpaw Anastasia (ABY n) who won her latest title in the minimum possible number of shows and went on to win Best Section 4 Neuter
- Koreshka Olexei Bluesky (RUS a) who won his fifth consecutive Best of Breed and Best Section 4 Kitten!
At the Three Counties show there were just three Abyssinians present, all three red series cats, and all three winning their Merits - congratulations!
And at the Shorthair Cat Breeders show in New Zealand the next day it was a fantastic day for Nibbles, now to be known as Gold Double Grand Champion Kimara Metallica Blu Sumfin Special, winning Best in Show in all four rings and Overall Supreme in Show - going gold in fantastic style! On the same day in W Australia, at a two-ring show, Champion Bluebebop Atavachron (RUS a) won his qualifying sixth Challenge certificate; and at her first adult show Bluebebop Jazz Aria (RUS a) won the Challenge in both rings plus the ACF certificate as Best Female Group 3 Entire!
 
     
 

4 August 2018 - Scottish Rex Cat Club - the 'Scottish Rexfest'; show in Sweden
It was great to see a RACCS cat at the Scottish Rex Cat Club's show - the Scottish Rexfest. On his show debut Mishka (PPS) won his first MasterCat certificate and Best of Colour, 1st in all his classes, including Most Aristocratic Cat, and Best in Show Pedigree Pet!
Congratulations also to Ch Abychat Whos-that-girl, (ABY a) on the same day over in Sweden winning her CACIB and being nominated for best in show.

 
     
 

28 July 2018 - Humberside/Lincolnshire shows
There were 12 Russians and 4 Abyssinians at the Humberside/Lincolnshire shows with fantastic results for RACCS cats who between them won two new titles, 16 certificates, nine cats winning in both shows, five out of six best of varieties, and three cats ending the day in best in show pens! Many congratulations to:
- Grand Champion Saladin Starwind (ABY n) won the Grand certificate in both shows and his new title
- GrPr Silversmoke Lindy Hop (ABY o) won the Imperial and Best of Breed in both shows
- IGrCh Dushenka Rafael (RUS a) who won the reserve Olympian in both shows
- GrCh Miakush Asgier Zeus (RUS a) won the Imperial certificate in both shows
- Ch Abychat Vogue (ABY o) won the Grand and Best of Breed in both shows
- Dushenka Xena Tanzanite (RUS a) won the Challenge certificate in both shows
- Abychat Chocolate Parfait (ABY b) on her show debut won Best of Breed in both shows

- and our RACCS Star of the Show Olympian Gold Imperial Grand Champion Kremlinkatz Katya Kalikova, who won her final Gold Olympian certificate, Best of Breed in both shows, Best Section 4 Adult in both shows, Best in Show Section 4 exhibit in the Humberside and Overall Best in Show in the Humberside show - going gold in super style!
And not forgetting - as if we could! - RACCS pet IGMC Oliver who won Best in Colour in both shows, and Best Non-Pedigree Pet and Overall Best in Show Pet in the Humberside show - what a day!

 
     
  21 July 2018 - London Cat Club show
There was just the one RACCS cat at the London show, but he more than held his own: many congratulations to IGrPr Abydreames Controversy (ABY n) who won the reserve Olympian, Best of Breed, 1st in all his side classes and Best Section 4 Neuter - well done Django!
 
     
  14 July 2018 - Eastern Counties show; Scotia Cat Fanciers
There were two GCCF shows today, pretty much at opposite ends of the country! At the Eastern Counties show there were 3 Abyssinians and 2 Russian Blues in competiiton. Many congratulations to:
- Grand Premier Silversmoke Lindy Hop (ABY o) who won her qualifying Grand certificate and Best of Breed
- Champion Serennol Sonya (RUS a) who won her third Challenge certificate and title, as well as Best of Breed
Up in Scotland at the Scotia show there were 5 Abyssinians and 8 Russian Blues entered with one new title winner and a clean sweep at best of variety! Many congratulations to:
- GrCh & Grand Premier Pontaby Alessandro (ABY n) now 9 years old, Duncan won his Grand certificate and latest title
- IGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda (RUS a) won the Olympian, Best of Breed and Best Section 4 Adult
- Pontaby Baci (ABY b) won Best of Breed and Best Section 4 Kitten
But the Star of the Show was GrCh & IGrPr Melkelter Sybilla Luba who won Best of Breed, Best Section 4 Neuter, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit... and Overall Best in Show!
 
     
  7-8 July 2018 - Wessex/Wiltshire shows; shows in Belgium and Australia
There were 5 Abyssinians, in 5 different colours, and 2 Russians entered at the Wessex/Wiltshire shows on 7 July. Congratulations go to our 'double' winners:
- Grand Champion Troika Varvara (RUS a) who won the Grand certificate and Best of Breed in both shows, and was made up to Grand Champion
- Pr Coppice Firefly (ABY o) - reserve Grand and Best of Breed in both shows
- Coppice Gideon (ABY a) Premier certificate and Best of Breed in both shows
In Thuin, Belgium the next day congratulations are due to Russian Blue kitten Arkasha van Terra de Bernescot who was Best in Show male SH kitten 3/6 months, and in a special class of 36 kittens placed 4th; IC Regalrussians Nikhil (RUS a) who won his certificate and was nominated for best in show; and European Champion Jamarie du Jardin des Agapanthes who won her qualifying European point, Best in Variety and was nominated for best in show as well.
On the same day, at the FCCQ Siamese & Shorthair CC show in Australia gorgeous George, Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special (RUS a) had another great day, winning two Bests, a reserve best, a 3rd best and being in the final line-up for supreme.
 
     
  30 June 2018 - East Sussex show; show in Sweden
At the East Sussex show there were just two Abyssinians in competition, but both won their certificates and Best of Breed - congratulations! Great news too from a two-day show in Sweden where Abychat Whos-That-Girl (ABY a) became a Champion on Saturday and won her first CACIB and was nominated for Best in Show on Sunday!
 
     
 

24 June 2018 - show in Australia
More great results from a three-ring show in Bassendean, W Australia. Many congratulations to Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n), on placing 5th Best Group 3 kitten, DiaGrCh Bluebebop Kitty Butterfield (RUS a) 3rd Best Group 3 entire, and DiaGrCh Bluebebop Jazz Suite 4th Best Group 3 entire.

 
     
 

16 June 2018 - Herts & Middlesex/Kensington shows;Lakeland show
The Herts & Middlesex and Kensington shows today marked the penultimate cat show day for the Wood Green venue. There was one Abyssinian and nine Russians entered, with two new title winners and three cats winning in both shows. First of all, many congratulations to our new title winners, both only entered in the Kensington show:
- Grand Champion Serennol Tattyana (RUS a)
- Premier Serennol Gizzy (RUS n), who won his title in three straight shows.
Congratulations also to our three 'double' winners:
- GrCh Miakush Asgier Zeus (RUS a), first time in the Imperial class and he won the Imperial in one show and the reserve Imperial in the other
- Dushenka Vasili Sweet-Basil (RUS a), at his first adult shows, he won the Challenge certificate in both shows
- Dushenka Xoriana Agata (RUS a) won Best of Breed kitten in both shows.
At the Lakeland show Russian Blues really dominated the day, with11 cats entered and a clean sweep at best of variety and best in show! Many congratulations to:
- Koreshka Olexsei Bluesky (RUS a) at his second show, won Best of Breed again, 1st in every class - a 'red card' day - and Best Section 4 (Foreign) Kitten again!
- GrCh & IGrPr Melkelter Sybilla Luba (RUS a) won her first Olympian, Best of Breed and Best Section 4 (Foreign) Neuter

9-10 June 2018 - Abyssinian Cat Club show; show in Belgium
There were 26 Abyssinians entered in in the Abyssinian Cat Club show in 7 different colours, with three cats winning new titles, and a good day for a RACCS pet too! Congratulations to:
- Champion Highlight Mungojerry (ABY b) who won his third Challenge certificate, Best of Breed and his new title
- Premier Khuphera Elexis (ABY a) won her third Premier certificate and title
- Champion Syrinx Queen of the Night (ABY n) who won her third Challenge certificate and title
- IGMC Thundercat (PPL) won the Olympian, Best in Colour and 1st in both his side classes - a 'red card' day

  2-3 June 2018 - Merseyside show; Bristol/Cambria shows; shows in Australia and New Zealand
There were two Abyssinians and 6 Russians in the placings at the Merseyside show, with show debutantes and 'old hands' all picking up a great array of awards. Special congratulations go to OSIGrCh Kremlinkatz Katya Kalikova who won the Olympian, Best of Breed, Best Foreign Adult and Best in Show Section 4 Foreign - and was in the final two at overall best!
At the Bristol/Cambria shows there were seven Russian Blues entered, with more great results:
- IGrCh Dushenka Rafael (RUS a) won the Olympian in both shows, and Best of Variety Section 4 Adult in the Bristol show
- Champion Dushenka Wilhemina Pinkletink (RUS a) won her third, and qualifying, Challenge certificate
- Dushenka Xena Tanzanite (RUS a) won Best of Breed kitten in both shows
- Grand Champion Miakush Asgier Zeus won the Grand in both shows and his new title, plus Best of Variety Section 4 Adult in the Bristol show and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in the Cambria show!

The next day at the National Show in Wellington, New Zealand it was another great day for Nibbles - Dbl GrCh Kimara Metallica Blu Sumfin Special (RUS a) - who won 6th best in show, 2nd best in show and best in show. The same day in Perth, W Australia there was a two-ring show with Pr Bluebebop Jazz Fantasy (RUS a) winning Best Foreign SH Desexed in one ring, Em GrCh Bluebebop Jazz Suite (RUS a) was Best Foreign SH Entire in both rings and Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n) winning Best Foreign SH kitten in both rings.
 
     
  26 May 2018 - Durham/Northern Counties shows
There were seven Russian Blues and two Abyssinians entered in the Durham/Northern Counties shows, with three double winners, three new title winners and two best of variety winners too. Many congratulations to
- GrCh & Imperial Grand Premier Melkelter Sybilla Luba (RUS a) won the reserve Imperial and Imperial certificates and her latest title
- Imperial Grand Premier Herrick (RUS a), just entered in the Northern Counties show, Rhubarb won that all-important fifth Imperial certificate and his new title

19 May 2018 - Suffolk & Norfolk Cat Club show, show in South Africa
There were 16 Russians entered at the sunny Suffolk & Norfolk show, themed to celebrate the Royal Wedding - but where were all the Abyssinians?? There were some great results for the Russians with two new title holders and a best of variety winner too . Many congratulations to:
- Champion Regalrussians Fyodor (RUS a) on winning his third Challenge certificate and title
- Champion Miakush Aelia Aafje (RUS a) who won her third Challenge certificate in three straight shows and her title too
Special congratulations to our Star of the Show, making his debut at just 4.5 months old...
- Koreshka Olexei Bluesky (RUS a) who won Best of Breed and Best of Variety Foreign Kitten!
And in South Africa there was another new title winner - Grand Champion Alyona Lazurnaya Leena (RUS a) who was also in the Top 5 Adults in Show!
     
  12 May 2018 - Nor'East of Scotland Cat Club show
There were 10 Russian Blues and 10 Abyssinians entered in the northernmost GCCF show in sunny Dundee, with RACCS cats enjoying excellent results again, with two new title winners, three cats nominated for BIS and a best of variety winner too. First of all, congratulations to the following cats, who were nominated for Best in Show:

  28-29 April 2018 - Bedford & District show, show in Australia
There were three Abyssinians and eight Russians entered at the Bedford show, back to being a single show this year. Super results for RACCS cats with two best of variety winners and a best in show winner!

- IGrPr Abydreames Controversy (ABY n) who won Best of Breed and Best of Variety Foreign Neuter; and the RACCS star of the show...
- OSIGrCh Kremlinkatz Katya Kalikova (RUS a) who won the reserve Olympian, Best of Breed, Best Foreign Adult, Best in Show Foreign Exhibit and Overall Best Exhibit in show!
In Australia there were excellent results for the Russians again, with Champion Bluebebop Jacko Patorius (RUS a) winning his title and also being placed 4th Best Group 3 entire.
 
     
  21-22 April 2018 - GCCFI Supreme Show; show in Germany
There was just the one Russian Blue in the placings at the GCCFI Supreme show, who won his first Hibernian certificate (GCCFI equivalent to our Imperial) and Best of Breed - well done to GrPr Abigail Armani!
At a show in Germany handsome Louie continued to impress, winning another certificate towards his European title and Best in Show - many congratulations to GIC Tyana Czar Luhezar. But today it was the turn of his son Neo to really shine bright - huge congratulations to Alyona Neomir Nikiforovich who won his junior certificate, Best in Show and Best of the Best!
 
     
14 April 2018 - Shorthair Cat Club of Scotland show; Essex show
There were 7 Russian Blues and 7 Abyssinians entered at the Shorthair Cat Club of Scotland's show in Glenrothes, who between them won certificates at every level from CC/PC to Olympian. Congratulations go to red card day winner Dushenka Veronica Speedwell, who won her PC, Best of Breed and 1st in all her classes. Special congratulations go to two best in show winners, Pontaby Baci (ABY b) who on his show debut won best of Breed and Best in Show Foreign exhibit; and Zsa-Zsa (PPS) who won his first MC at his first adult show, Best in Colour , Best Pedigree Pet and Overall Best in Show Pet, repeating his success at the RACCS show in January!
At the Essex show there were four Russians and one Abyssinian entered, with special congratulations going to red card day winner Regalrussians Sofiya (RUS a) who won her Challenge certificate, Best of Breed and 1st in all her classes.
     
  8 April 2018 - show in Australia
It was another very successful show day for gorgeous George, Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special (RUS a) at the Cats Qld show on 8 April who won 3rd best in show in one ring, best in show in another two rings and Supreme Shorthair Exhibit of Show. Well done again George!
 
     
  31 March 2018 - Bucks, Oxon & Berks/Cambridgeshire Cat Club shows; Kernow show
It was the first time the BOBCats and Camcats show had run back-to-back, and a very successful day it was too. There were two Abyssinians, a Nebelung and 10 Russians entered. Congratulations go to 'double winner' Serennol Gizzy (RUS n) who at his first adult shows won the Premier Certificate and Best of Breed in both shows. Special congratulations to GrCh Troika Bylina who won Best of Variety Foreign Adult in the BOBCats show. There was just the one Russian Black entered at the Kernow show, but she enjoyed a pretty successful day too.
 
     
  24-25 March 2018 - Preston & Blackpool show; show in Sweden; shows in Australia
There were 7 Abyssinians and 13 Russians entered at the Preston & Blackpool show. Special congratulations go to IGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b) won won the reserve Olympian, Best of Breed and Best of Variety Foreign Adult.
In Sweden on the same day congratulations are due to beautiful blue Abyssinian Abychat Whos-That-Girl who won Ex1 and was nominated for best in show. The next day, at a three-ring show in Bassendean in West Australia Bluebebop Zylva Sophia (RUS a)won second best kitten in show in one ring , GrCh Bluebebop Kitty Butterfield (RUS a) in her three rings was 4th best entire Group 3, 3rd best Group 3 entire and Best Group 3 entire. EmGrCh Bluebebop Jazz Suite won a reserve Group 3 entire and Bluebebop Jacko Pastorius (RUS a) was 5th Best Group 3 entire in two rings. At a QFA show the same day, gorgeous George was on sparkling form as ever, winning reserve, 3rd and 4th Best in Show in his three rings.
 
     
  17-18 March 2018 - Surrey & Sussex show, Belgian show, Australian show
There were four Abyssinians and five Russians entered at the Surrey & Sussex show, with one cat winning a new title: many congratulations to Imperial Grand Premier Abydreames Controversy (ABY n) who won his fifth, and qualifying, Imperial certificate and Best of Breed.
At the LCC show in Vlodrop, Belgium, mature debutante Alyona Sileniy Porosha won her CAC and Best in Show breeder's untitled cat; and Ch Alyona Jasminka won her first CACIB, Best in Show... and Best of the Best!
In Australia Gorgeous George did it again - ACF AoE PDGC Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special won two reserve Best in Shows and a 6th Best in Show in his three rings.
 
     
 

10-11 March 2018 - Lancashire show; Northern Ireland Cat Club; show in Australia
At the Lancashire show on 10 March there were 15 Russians and one Abyssinian entered with RACCS cats winning certificates at every level including Olympian. No new titles, but plenty of cats making progress towards one. Over in Northern Ireland on the same day there were three Russian Blues in competition, with a kitten making a successful debut. Down in Australia the next day there were some great results too: Pr Bluebebop Jazz Fantasy (RUS a) won Reserve Best Desexed Foreign, and 5th Best Desexed Cat in Show, Bluebebop Atavachron (RUS a) won 5th best Entire Cat , Bluebebop Zylva Sophia (RUS a) won 8th Best Kitten in Show in two rings, and Ch Bluebebop Fauvette des Jardins (RUS a) won 7th Best Entire Cat. But the RACCS Star of the Show had to be Bluebebop Jacko Pastorius (RUS a) who won Best Foreign Shorthair in Show , Best Entire Cat and Supreme Cat in Show!

 
     
  4 March 2018 - Dutch show
Great news from a show in Baarn in the Netherlands with Best Shorthair Litter going to a lovely litter of Abyssinians, and a super set of results for the Russian Blues with a new title for International Champion Alyona Ilian Ilariy; Grigori Jefimovitsj Dunoe was nominated for best in show; Alyona Neomir Nikiforovitch was best Russian kitten and was nominated for best in show; Ch & Premier Kimara Silvan Naleerah won her second title and also won a Best in Show; and the star of the show who won his new title to become Grand International Champion Tyana Czar Luhezar, and went on to win Best Overall Adult and Overall Best in Show!
 
     
  24-25 February 2018 - Coventry & Leicester show, shows in Australia
There were 16 Russians and 5 Abyssinians entered at the Coventry & Leicester show on 24 February, with two red card day winners, two new title winners, and a best of variety winner too - as well as two close runners-up.
Many congratulations to:
- Grand Champion Serennol Charlotte Russe (RUS n) on winning her third Grand, Best of Breed and her new title
- Champion Miakush Asgier Zeus (RUS a), Champion in three straight shows at just 10 months old , Zeus is also the first-ever titled Miakush, so special congratulations to his owner/breeder!
- GrCh Abydreames Gett Off (ABY n) enjoyed a red card day, including winning his third Imperial certificate and Best of Breed
- Coppice Gideon (ABY a) won Best of Breed and Best of Variety Foreign Kitten
Well done to all our winners!
The next day it was the Cats Queensland Lockyer Valley Club show, and another day for gorgeous George to shine, who across three rings won 5th best in show; reserve Best in Show; and Best in Show and Supreme Shorthair Exhibit. There was also a special show in West Australia, a Lucy Nikiforos tribute one-ring show with Kimara Azar Whistling Jack winning Best Group 3 Desexed and 'Russinian' girl Oops-a-Daisy winning Best Group 4 (pet) in show.
 
     
 

10 February 2018 - Croydon/Southern Counties shows
There were 6 Abyssinians and four Russian Blues entered at the Croydon/Southern Counties shows, with special congratulations due to 'double' winner Flamstone Sirius (ABY n) who won the Challenge certificate and Best of Breed in both shows, his first adult shows.

 
     
 

3 February 2018 - Gwynedd/Shropshire shows
There were 19 cats of RACCS breeders entered at the Gwynedd/hropshire shows with 14 cats winning in both shows, 5 new title winners and three best of variety winners.

  28 January 2018 - show in the Netherlands
There were 12 Russians, 6 Abyssinians and 4 Nebelungs entered in the Neocat show today - congratulations to IC Tyana Czar Luhezar (RUS a) who won the honorary prize for Best Russian male, Best in Variety and was nominated for BIS; and special congratulations to Ch Kimara Silvan Naleerah, who won her CAP, honorary prize for Best Russian Female and Best in Show neutered female.
 
     
 

20-21 January 2018 - Short Hair Cat Society/Abyssinian Cat Association shows; show in Australia
There were 12 Russians and 11 Abyssinians in the show hall on 20 January, which was host to a total of 10 separate breed shows, making for a very busy day! Abyssinians could enter two of them with six Abys being double winners; Russians just the one - and enjoyed some great results. First of all, congratulations to our new title winners and double certificate winners:
- IGrCh & Imperial Grand Premier Dushenka Belucia (RUS a)
- Grand Champion Abychat Akindof Magic (ABY a) - a double winner, taking the Grand certificate in both shows
- Grand Champion Syrinx Prima Donna (ABY n) - Grand winner in both shows
- Champion Linczozo Tutu (ABY n) - who won the Challenge certificate in both shows
- OSIGrCh Linczozo Cat's Pyjamas (ABY n) won the Olympian in both shows

  13/14 January 2018 - Paris show
At the two-day Paris expo congratulations go to Malyshka du Jardin des Agapanthes (RUS a), who won the CAC on both days and was nominated for best in show too, and also Regalrussians Nikhil who won Ex1 both days. Both were calm and happy throughout, even with the enormous amount of visitors - 35,000 over the two days.
 
     
 

6 January 2018 – RACCS 5th Championship show
We had a total of 50 cats entered today,and enjoyed a happy day! Special congratulations are due to our four new title holders:
