  15 December 2018 - Maidstone & Medway Cat Club show; news from Australia
It was the last GCCF show of the year with 6 Abyssinians and 5 Russian Blues entered. Many congratulations to:
- Champion Annusia Kisa Kschessinska (RUS a) who won her qualifying Challenge certificate and Best of Breed at just 11 months old
- Abydreames Isis (ABY n) who had a great show debut, enjoying a red card day - Best of Breed and 1st in every class entered.
And final congratulations of the year go to gorgeous George, ACF Sil AoE PDGC Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special (RUS a) who won the following annual awards in 2019: QFA reserve Shorthair Desexed Cat of the Year; CQI Best Shorthair Alter of the Year; and FCCQ Best Shorthair Alter of the Year!

  14 December 2019 - the Scottish Cat Club show
There were 12 Abyssinians and 11 Russian Blues entered in the Scottish show, with three new title winners and a clean sweep at best of variety for RACCS breeds! Many congratulations to:
- Imperial GrCh Melkelter Tsetsiliya (RUS a) who won her fifth, and qualifying, Imperial certificate
- Ch & Premier Alyona Jelisaveta (RUS a) who won her third, and qualifying Premier certificate
- Premier Dushenka Zelazny, who won his third, and qualifying Premier certificate
- Sup UK OSIGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b), who won the reserve Olympian and Best of Variety Section 4 Adult
- Magleco Joy Remembered (ABY n) on her show debut won Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten
- GrCh & IGrPr Melkelter Sybilla Luba (RUS a) won the Olympian, Best of Breed, Best of Variety Section 4 Neuter, and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit!
 
     
  7 December 2019 - Colourpoint & All-Breed Cat Club/National Cat Club show
It was another excellent day for RACCS breeds with six Abyssinians, one Nebelung and thirteen Russian Blues entered, with nine cats winning in both shows, five cats winning new titles, and four cats winning best of variety awards too. Many congratulations to:
- Imperial GrCh Troika Tamora (RUS a) who won the reserve Imperial and Imperial certificates, and her new title
- Grand Premier Abydreames Musicology (ABY n) won his Grand certificate in both shows, and his new title
- Grand Champion Warwick Nebula (RUS a) who won her qualifying Grand certificate just one week before her 10th birthday
- Premier Troika Oberon (RUS a) won his Premier certificate in both shows, plus his new title
- Merit Qualifier Truevine Beatrix (NEB), just entered in the National show, she won her qualifying Merit certificate and Best of Breed
- GrCh Dushenka Viola Heartsease (RUS a) won the Imperial and reserve Imperial
- Ch Goluboi Calina won the Grand and reserve Grand certificates
- Annusia Kisa Kschessinska (RUS a) at her first adult shows, won the Challenge certificate in both shows
- Adsepfo Theia (RUS a) won Best of Breed in both shows
Special congratulations go to our best of variety winners:
- Abyfabylous Avalon Sunset (ABY o) on his show debut won Best of Breed in both shows, and Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten in the Colourpoint show
- Sorceror Silver Soprano (ABY os), just entered in the National show, she won her Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten in the National show
GrCh & UK IGrPr Troika Rusalka (RUS a), won Best of Breed in both shows and Best of Variety Section 4 Neuter in the Colourpoint show
- UK & IGrCh Dushenka Rafael (RUS a) won Best of Variety Section 4 Adult in the National show, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit, and reserve overall best in show!
 
     
 

16 November 2019 - Cheshire show; Ulster show
There were just four Russian Blues and no Abyssinians entered at Cheshire show - we missed you! - with two red card day winners and a BIS winner too. Many congratulations to:
- GrCh Dushenka Viola Heartsease (RUS a), who won the Imperial, Best of Breed and both her side classes; her daughter
- Dushenka Canterbury-Belle (RUS a) who on her show debut won all her classes and Best of Breed too
But our RACCS Star of the Show was the veteran gentleman Ch & IGrPr Dushenka Xander (RUS a), who at nearly 12 years of age won Best of Breed, both his side classes, Best Section 4 Neuter, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit, and was in the final three at overall best in show!
At the Ulster show the same day there was just one Russian Blue present, Ch Alyona Jelisaveta, who won Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit!

 
     
 

9 November 2019 - Cumberland/Yorkshire shows
At the Cumberland and Yorkshire shows there were 7 Abyssinians and 7 Russian Blues entered, with six 'double' winners, three new title winners and three best of variety winners too. Many congratulations to:
- Grand Champion Melkelter Bezruchka (RUS a) Grand winner in both shows, Brenda also won her new title
- GrCh Aucuparia's Julius (ABY n) Imperial winner and best of breed in both shows
- Siarus Ermelova Maria (RUS a) Challenge certificate winner in both shows, her first time out as an adult
- Kremlinkatz Kelsa Kotenka (RUS a) best of breed in both shows on her show debut
Special congratulations to our Best of Variety winners:
- Abychat Grace-Kelly (ABY n) Best of Variety Section 4 kitten in the Yorkshire show on her show debut
- Olympian Silver Melkelter Andris Kuzma (RUS a) who won the Olympian, reserve Olympian and his Silver title, Best of Variety Section 4 Neuter in both shows and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in the Cumberland
But the RACCS Star of the Show - again! - was Sup UK Olympian Gold IGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda (RUS a) who won the Olympian, reserve Olympian, Best of Variety Section 4 Adult in both shows, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in the Yorkshire show... and Overall Best in Show, winning her final Golden title too!

 
     
 

26-27 October 2019 - The Supreme Show; show in Australia
There were truly thrilling results for RACCS cats at the Supreme Show this year, with 21 Russians and 6 Abyssinians enjoying some fantastic results, including eight new title winners and a stunning 'breed first':
- UK & IGrPr Abydreames Controversy (ABY n)
- UK & IGrCh Dushenka Rafael (RUS a)
- Imperial GrCh Highlight Mungojerrie (ABY b)
- Imperial GrCh Koreshka Olexsei Bluesky (RUS a)
- Grand Champion Brightlite treacle Puddin' (RUS n)
- Grand Premier Serennol Gizzy (RUS n)
- OGIGrCh & Premier Linczozo Cat's Pyjamas (ABY n)
But the stand-out cat on the day was definitely gorgeous Gertie, who won the UK certificate and her first new title of the day, best of breed, Best of Variety Section 4 Adult.... Supreme Adult and Supreme Exhibit! Finally, finally, we have a Supreme-titled Russian Blue - huge congratulations to Supreme UK OSIGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda (RUS a)!
And at the last Cats Queensland show of the year George did it again - truly a 'kinda Special' guy! - winning two Best Shorthair Desexed Cat in Show and a reserve best too, ending up as Highest Scoring Shorthair Exhibit in Show.

 
     
  19-20 October 2019 - Kentish Cat Society show; show in Australia
There were five Russian Blues and five Abyssinians entered at the Kentish show with special congratulations due to two BOV winners, and a new title winner too:
- Annusian Kisa Kschessinska (RUS a) who won Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten
- UK & Olympian Silver Abydreames Specsappeal (ABY a), who won her qualifying Silver certificate and Best of Variety Section 4 Adult!
At the FCCQ show in Australia ACF Sil AoE PDGC Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special won two Best Shorthair Desexed Cat in Show and a reserve Best Shorthair Desexed Cat as well - well done again George!.
 
     
 

12 October 2019 - Edinburgh & East of Scotland CC show
There were nine Russian Blues and three Abyssinians entered at the Edinburgh show - special congratulations go to Ch Alyona Jelisaveta (RUS a) who won her PC, Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 Neuter!

 
     
 

5-6 October 2019 - RBBA show; show in France; show in Australia
At the RBBA show there were 38 Russians entered in all three colours, with two cats winning new titles - congratulations to:

- GrCh & Premier Curtilla Penumbra

Special congratulations go to the Overall Best in Show winner - for the third consecutive year - OBIGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda!
In France at the Mantes la Jolie two-day show Russian Blues did brilliantly, with GIC Regalrussians Nikhil being nominated for BIS on Saturday, and winning BIS on Sunday; Ortense du Fort de la Bosse Marniere winning BIS on both days; and Paiva du Jardin des Agapanthes, winning Best in Variety both days, being nominated the first day, and winning 5th place out of 45 kittens in the 6-10 months kitten ring, Best in Show and Best of the Best!
And in Australia at the QFA Spring Show on the Sunday Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special won three reserve Best Desexed Shorthair Cat in Show and one third best, in a very strong line-up - well done again George!

 
     
 

28 September 2019 - South Western Counties show
There was just the one Abyssinian in competition at this show, winning his Imperial certificate and best of breed - well done!

 
     
  21 September 2019 - AGCS show; Erin show
There were seven Abyssinians entered at the Asian Group Cat Society show by special agreement with the GCCF, with congratulations being due to Melisani Pearl Pureheart (ABY p), who on her show debut won Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 kitten; and OGIGrCh Linczozo Cat's Pyjamas (ABY n) who won her PC, Best of Breed, Best of Variety Section 4 neuter, and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit! At the Erin show over in Northern Ireland the same day there were three Russian Blues in competition, all three winning their certificates.
 
     
 

14 September 2019 - Somerset/West Country shows
Some good results from the Somerset/West Country shows where there were two Russian blues and two Abyssinians in competition. Special congratulations go to IGrCh Dushenka Rafael who won the reserve Olympian and Best of Breed in both shows, and Best of Variety Section 4 Adult in the Somerset show.

 
     
  7-8 September 2019 - Wyvern show; Breed Special in the Netherlands; show in Australia
There was just one Russian Blue in the placings at the Wyvern show, winning her Grand and Best of Breed.
And at the Russian Blue Special in Rotterdam the next day there were three Nebelungs and 26 Russian Blues entered. Many congratulations to the BIS winners:
- BIS male - GIC Regalrussians Nikhil
- BIS neuter - Alyona Qatyusha
- Best in Variety and BIS Junior - Freya vom Haus der Sechem
- BIS 3-6 months male kitten - Daliena's Tobin Sacharov
- BIS 3-6 months female kitten - Kirochka Dunoe
In Australia the same day, at the Flash Felines show, gorgeous George did it again, winning Best Shorthaired Desexed and Best Overall Shorthair Exhibit in one ring, plus a 3rd Best Shorthaired Desexed, and 4th Best Shorthaired Desexed.
 
     
  31 Augst 2019 - 1 Sept - show in Sweden
Special congratulations today to Grand International Champion Abychat Who's That Girl (ABY a) who won her new title at the MSK's 36th international show in Vilstahallen.
 
     
 

24-25 August 2019 - Teesside show; West of England show; show in Australia; show in France
At the Teesside show there were four Russian Blues and five Abyssinians entered. Special congratulations go to the luscious Poppy, IGrPr Shoelina Diamond Jubilee (RUS a) who won Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 neuter, and to Syrinx Vilja (ABY n) who on her show debut won Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 kitten!
At the West of England show there were two Abyssinians and one Russian Blue in the placings, with congratulations due to new title winner Champion Goluboi Korolyeva Felitsiya.
The next day, at the Southern Cross Cat Club show in Claremont, W Australia, there was a new title win for Double GrCh Bluebebop Kitty Butterfield (RUS a) - it takes 41 certificates to win that title! Kitty also placed well in all three rings - fifth best twice and sixth best entire cat in show (all breeds). Bluebebop Sweetest Taboo (RUS a) was third best, and seventh best kitten (all breeds) and Bz GrPr Kimara Azar Whistling Jack (RUS a) won two Best Desexed Cat awards, and was third best desexed cat in the other ring. On the same day, at a show in France, congratulations are due to European Champion Regalrussians Nikhil (RUS a) who won his qualifying certificate for his European title, having also won certificates in the Netherlands and Belgium.

 
     
  18 August 2019 - show in Australia
At a show in Bassendean, W Australia there were great results for Bz GrPr Kimara Azar Whistling Jack, who won Best Group 3 Desexed in both rings, both ACF AoE Awards of Excellence, and the award for Group 3 Best Temperament in Ring 1 .
 
     
  10 August 2019 - Chester & North Wales show; Three Counties show
At the Chester show there were 13 Russian Blues and one Abyssinian entered with special congratulations due to Siarus Dakota (RUS a) who won Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten. At the Three Counties show special congratulations go to Troika Oberon (RUS a), who won the Premier Certificate, Best of Breed, Best of Variety Section 4 Neuter and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit!
 
     
 

3-4 August 2019 - Scottish Rex Cat Club - the 'Scottish Rexfest'; shows in Australia and Sweden
It was a glorious warm and sunny day for the gloriously warm and fun 'Scottish Rexfest' show. Although a show for 'curly cats' three Russian Blues made an appearance, two on exhibition, and four RACCS pets in competition, all four winning certificates, and Mischka (PPS a) enjoying a red card day - well done to all of you!
The next day at a COAWA show in Claremont, Australia there were more great results with Ruby GrCh Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n) 'beating the blues' to be awarded reserve Best Entire - All Breeds; GrCh Bluebebop Oscar Peterson (RUS n) placing 7th; and ACF AoE Dia GrCh Bluebebop Kitty Butterfield (RUS a) placing 9th. In the kittens,Bluebebop Sweetest Taboo (RUS a) was 7th Best Kitten - All Breeds too! Not to be outdone, Emerald GrCh Bluebebop Atavachron (RUS a) won his qualifying certificate for his Emerald title and Diamond GrCh Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n) qualified for her Diamond title too! There was more great news from a show in Sweden with IC Abychat Who's that Girl (ABY a) winning BIS breeding female and BIS litter.

 
     
 

27-28 July 2019 - Humberside/Lincolnshire shows; shows in Australia
There were five Abyssinians and six Russian Blues entered in the Humber/Lincs shows, with five double winners, three best of variety winners, and RACCS cats ending up in both Best Section 4 pens!
- GrCh Koreshka Olexsei Bluesky (RUS a) won the Imperial certificate in both shows
- Abychat Dancing Queen (ABY n) won the Challenge certificate and Best of Breed in both shows
- Miakush Beharet Begavelse (RUS a) on his show debut won the Premier certificate and Best of Breed in both shows
Special congratulations to our best of variety winners:
- IGrPr Abydreames Graffiti Bridge (ABY n) won Best of Breed in both shows and Best Section 4 Neuter in the Lincolnshire show
- Koreshka Neva Nevskaya (RUS a), who won Best of Breed in both shows, Best Section 4 Kitten in both shows and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in the Humberside show
And the RACCS Star of the Show:
- UK & OBIGrCh Abydreames Specsappeal (ABY a) who won Best of Breed in both shows, the Olympian certificate in both shows, Best Section 4 Adult in the Lincolnshire show, then Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit... and Overall Best in Show!
The next day at the SLCC show in Queensland, Australia, gorgeous George - Kimara Blue Shimma Kinda Special (RUS a) - continued his winning ways, with a Best Shorthair Desexed in Show, reserve Best and 4th Best. And at a CatsWA show in Bassendean, WA, Brz GrPr Kimara Azar Whistling Jack (RUS a) won Best Group 3 Desexed Exhibit in one ring and also won both ACF AoE awards.

 
     
 

13-14 July 2019 - Eastern Counties show; Scotia Cat Fanciers; show in Australia
There were 13 Russian Blues, one Abyssinian and 5 RACCS pets entered in the Scotia show, who between them won 14 certificates, four new titles, and two best of variety winners too. Many congratulations to:
- Olympian Bronze IGMC Raineach Rioghail (PPS ns 21 33) who won his qualifying Olympian certificate, and Best Adult Pedigree Pet!
- Premier Dushenka Veronica Speedwell (RUS a) won her third and qualifying Premier certificate
- MC Conasg Cailleannach (NPS a 23) won his first GMC and enjoyed a red card day
- GrCh & IGrPr Melkelter Sybilla Luba (RUS a) won Best Section 4 Neuter
But the RACCS Star of the Show again was gorgeous Gertie, Olympian Silver IGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda (RUS a), who enjoyed a red card day, won Best Section 4 Adult, then Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit... and Overall Best in Show - and with that, her Olympian Silver title too!
At the Eastern Counties show the same day there were five Russians in the placings, with one new title winner: congratulations to Champion Troika Alyosha Popovich (RUS a) who won his qualifying Challenge certificate, winning his title in the minimum possible number of shows
The next day at the FCCQ show in Australia gorgeous George had another great day, winning 2 x BIS Shorthair Desexed and also an Overall Best Shorthair Exhibit - clever boy George!

 
     
  6-7 July 2019 - Wessex/Wiltshire shows; show in Australia
There were six Russian Blues and one Abyssinian (sadly two absentees) entered at the Wessex and Wiltshire shows with three double winners, a new title winner and best in show winner too. Many congratulations to:
- Champion Dushenka Annabella (RUS a) who won the Challenge certificate in both shows, plus her new title
- GrCh Troika Tamora (RUS a) won the Imperial certificate in both shows, in strong classes too
- Annusia Kisa Kschessinska (RUS a) on her show debut won Best of Breed in both shows
But the RACCS Star of the Show was IGrCh Dushenka Rafael (RUS a) who was Best Section 4 Adult in the Wiltshire show, then Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit... and Overall Best in Show!
The next day, at the Sunset Coast Cat Club show in Claremont, W Australia ACF AoE Dia GrCh Bluebebop Kitty Butterfield (RUS a) won 3rd Best Group 3 entire cat , 4th Best Group 3 entire cat and 6th Best Entire cat (all breeds). Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n) won reserve Best Group 3 entire cat in one ring too .
 
     
  29 June 2019 - East Sussex show
At the East Sussex show there were two Abyssinians and two Russian Blues in the placings, with three cats winning new titles. Congratulations to:
- Imperial Grand Premier Silversmoke Lindy Hop (ABY o) who won her fifth, and qualifying, Imperial certificate
- Grand Champion Linczozo Lima Oscar (ABY c) won his third, and qualifying, Grand certificate
- Champion Goluboi Tatyana (RUS a) won her third, and qualifying Challenge certificate
 
     
 

23 June 2019 - shows in Australia
More good results from the CatsWA 50th Anniversary show in Bassendean, W Australia, where there were seven Russians entered, all seven winning their breed class in all three rings. Congratulations to ACF AoE Dia GrCh Bluebebop Kitty Butterfield (RUS a) who also won 4th Best Group 3 Entire, 6th Best Group 3 Entire, and reserve Best Group 3 Veteran; and Ruby GrCh Bluebebop Jazz Serendade (RUS n) who was 4th Best Group 3 Junior. At the Gold Coast show the same weekend, gorgeous George shone again with three BIS SH Desexed wins and 2 BIS SH wins!

 
     
 

15 June 2019 - Herts & Middlesex/Kensington shows;Lakeland show
There were 10 Russian Blues entered at the Herts & Middlesex/Kensington shows, with three double winners, two new titles and a best in show winner too! First of all, many congratulations to our new title winners:
- Grand Champion Kremlinkatz Katazyna (RUS a), who won her third, and qualifying Grand certificate
- Ch & Premier Dushenka Wilhemina Pinkletink (RUS a), just entered in one show, she won her qualifying Premier certificate in three straight shows
Congratulations to our 'double' winners:
- GrCh Kremlinkatz Kazak Kazar (RUS a) reserve Imperial in both shows
- Ch Kremlinkatz Moya Korolyeva (RUS a) reserve Grand in both shows, her first time in the class
- Troika Alyosha Popovitch (RUS a), Challenge certificate in both shows, his first adult shows
Special congratulations go to the RACCS Star of the Show, IGrCh Dushenka Rafael, Best of Breed in both shows, Best Section 4 Adult and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in the Herts & Middlesex show!

8-9 June 2019 - Abyssinian Cat Club show; show in Australia
There were 37 cats at the ACC show, including 22 Abyssinians in 7 different colours, with two new title winners. Congratulations to:
- Grand Champion Gallant Gibson from A'far (ABY o) who won his third, and qualifying, Grand certificate
- SupK and GrandMaster Cat Tigeress (NPS) who won her third, and qualifying GMC certificate

In Australia the next day it was the ACF National Show in Sydney, and gorgeous George, Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special (RUS a) did it again - three Best Group 3 Desexed awards, a 3rd and a 4th - and Supreme Group 3 Exhibit and the Lucy Nikiforos Memorial Award for Best Russian Exhibit.

 
     
 

1-2 June 2019 - Merseyside show; Bristol/Cambria shows; show in Australia
At the Bristol and Cambria shows there were three Abyssinians and four Russian Blues in the placings, with two new title winners and two best of variety winners too. Congratulations to:
- Highlight Papaver (ABY d), who had another great day, winning her Merit and Best of Breed in both shows and becoming a Merit Qualifer for the sex-linked colour series of Abyssinians
- Champion Kremlinkatz Moya Korolyeva (RUS a) won her third, and qualifying Challenge certificate
- Highlight Bengeman (ABY ns) just entered in the Bristol show, this silver boy enjoyed a great show debut winning Best of Breed and Best Section 4 Kitten!
- GrCh Highlight Mungojerrie (ABY b) won the Imperial, Best of Breed and Best Section 4 Adult in the Cambria show
At the Merseyside show the same day there was one Abyssinian and five Russian Blues in the placings, and one new title winner - congratulations to Champion Siarus Bolshoi Star (RUS a) on winning her third, and qualifying Challenge certificate.
And in Australia the next day special congratulations are due to ACF AoE Dia Gr Ch Bluebebop Jazz Suite (RUS a) who won her 10th and qualifying ACF certificate for her ACF Award of Excellence title.

 
     
  25-26 May 2019 - Durham/Northern Counties shows; shows in Australia
There were 5 Abyssinians and 11 Russian Blues entered at the Durham/Northern Counties shows with six cats winning in both shows, four new title winners, and three best of variety winners. Congratulations to:

- Champion Dushenka Zinevra (RUS a) won the Challenge certificate in both shows and her new title at just 10 months old

Special congratulations to our best of variety winners:
- Abychat Purple-Passion (ABY c) who on his show debut won Best of Breed in both shows, 1st in every class entered, and Best Section 4 Kitten in the Durham show
- OBIGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda (RUS a) who won the Olympian certificate and Best of Breed in both shows, 1st in every class entered - a double red card day - Best Section 4 Adult and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in the Northern Counties show
But the RACCS Star of the Show again was the one and only Supreme UK OSIGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b), who in the Durham show won Best Section 4 Adult, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit, and Overall Best in Show... and then went on to be awarded Best of the Best across the two shows!!
The next day there were great results from two shows in Australia. At the Cats Qld show, gorgeous George had another great day, winning Reserve in Show Shorthair Alter, 3rd best and 5th Best Alter in three rings. And at the Cats WA show in Bassendean GrCh Bluebebop Jaco Pastorius won his certificate in all three rings and 3rd Best Group 3 Entire in one ring. Bz GrPr Kimara Azar Whistling Jack (RUS a) also had a great day, winning Overall Best Group 3 Exhibit in another ring!
 
     
18 May 2019 - Suffolk & Norfolk Cat Club show
There were two Abyssinians and five Russians entered at the Suffolk & Norfolk show, with two new title winners - including a bit of a breed first - and a best of variety winner as well. Many congratulations to:
- Imperial Grand Premier Brightlite Slinky Malinki (RUS n) who won his fifth Imperial certificate and title, making him the first neutered Russian Black to win an Imperial title!
- Champion Dushenka Vasili Sweet-Basil (RUS a) who won his third Challenge certificate and title
Special congratulations go to Ch Linczozo Lima Oscar (ABY c) who won the Grand certificate, Best of Breed and Best Section 4 Adult!
     
 

12-13 May 2019 - Nor'East of Scotland Cat Club show; show in Australia
It was quite an eventful day at the Dundee show, including a fire alarm where we all had to evacuate the show hall - fortunately a false alarm! There was a great entry of 14 Russian Blues and 9 Abyssinians, plus 5 RACCS pets, winning a rather staggering 26 certificates between them, with 7 new title winners, six pedigrees nominated for best in show and taking a clean sweep at best of variety too! Our pet members also had the chance to enter two shows on the day, as the Scottish Siamese show ran alongside and also enjoyed some fantastic results. First of all, congratulations to our new title winners:
- Olympian Bronze IGrCh Melkelter Galiya Gertruda (RUS a) - gorgeous Gertie was also nominated for best in show
- Grand Champion Dushenka Viola Heartsease (RUS a) - Viola was also nominated for best in show
- Premier Pontaby Baci (ABY b)
GrCh Makima Angelite (RUS a) was also nominated for best in show.

- Best Section 4 Adult: IGrCh Glendavan Nell Gwynn (ABY n)

Over in the pet section, there were four RACCS pets entered in both show, all four winning both certificates and their new titles! Many congratulations to:

- MasterCat Mac (PPS a)
- MasterCat Sioda Solasta (PPS n 24), who also went on to win Best Pedigree Pet in the Siamese show!
The next day at the Birman Club show in Australia, gorgeous George did it again, winning two Best Shorthair Desexed - one from the GCCF's own John Hansson - and a 3rd Best too.

 
     
 

5-6 May 2018 - Central/Midland Counties shows, show in Australia
There were two Abyssinians and two Russians entered in the Central and Midland shows, with three of them being 'double' winners on the day, two winning new titles, and one winning a best of variety award too. Congratulations to:
- Highlight Papaver (ABY d) a rare sex-linked red Aby girl, who on her show debut won her Merit and Best of Breed in both shows
- Champion Sithee Obsidian Rose (RUS n) won her Challenge certificate and Best of Breed in both shows, plus her new title
- Champion Larksong Last Tango (RUS a) who won the Challenge certificate and Best of Breed in both shows, his new title, and Best Section 4 Adult in the Central show!
And in W Australia, breed history was made as Champion Oop Bop Sh'bam du Fort de la Bosse Marniere (NEB) became the first-ever Nebelung to win a show title in Australia! Congratulations also to Grand Champion Bluebebop Boogie Wonder Lad (RUS n) who won his Grand title at the same show.

 
     
  27-28 April 2019 - Bedford & District show, shows in Australia
There were 8 Russians and 6 Abyssinians at the Bedford show , with two 'red card day' winners and a new title winner too. Many congratulations to:
- Champion Troika Chastushka (RUS a) , not even 11 months old, and a Champion in three straight shows
- Koperkat Tommy Shelby (ABY b) on his show debut won Best of Breed and 1st in all his classes - a 'red card day'
- GrPr Brightlite Slinky Malinki (RUS n), won 1st in all his classes too, together with his fourth Imperial and Best of Breed
On Sunday, at the two-ring CatsWA show in W Australia there were more great results with Dia GrCh Bluebebop Jazz Suite (RUS a) winning 3rd Best Group 3 Entire in one ring, and GrCh Bluebebop Jazz Serenade winning 3rd Best in the other ring; and Bz GrPr Kimara Azar Whistling Jack, just entered in one ring where he won reserve Best Group 3 Desexed. Champion Bluebebop Oscar Petersen (RUS n) also won his new title. Congratulations everyone!
Also on Sunday, at the FCCQ 4-ring show in Australia gorgeous George won a 3rd in Show, two reserve In show, and a Best in Show Shorthair Desexed & Best in Show Shorthair Exhibit!

13 April 2019 - Shorthair Cat Club of Scotland show; Essex show
There were 10 Russian Blues and 12 Abyssinians entered in the Shorthair Cat Club of Scotland show in Glenrothes, with four new title winners and two best of variety winners too. First of all, congratulations to our new title winners:

It was another very successful show day for the Russians at the MCCC three-ring show in Claremont, W Australia, winning all their certificates, two new title holders and a good range of Top 10 placings too - and also a historic day, with a breed making its Australian debut.

- Champion Abychat Chocolate Parfait (ABY b) won her third Challenge certificate and title
- OBIGrPr Melkelter Andris Kuzma (RUS a), Olympian, Best of Breed and 1st in both his side classes - another 'red card day' winner
- Dushenka Zinevra, Best of Breed and also enjoyed a 'red card' day
But our Star of the Show again was the one and only Supreme UK OSIGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b) who won the reserve Olympian, Best of Breed, Best Section 4 Adult and Best in Show Section 4 exhibit!
And down under, in West Australia there were more great results at a three-ring show. Congratulations to:

  16-17 March 2019 - Surrey & Sussex show, Australian shows
There were four Russian Blues and three Abyssinians in the placings at the Surrey & Sussex show, with congratulations due to our new title winner, red card day winner and best of variety winner:
- Champion Goluboi Calina (RUS a) won her third Challenge certificate and title
- Ch Sithe Flying Solo (RUS a) won his second Grand certificate, Best of Breed, and 1st in both his side classes
- Quapaw Caravelle (ABY q) a rare sorrel tortie Abyssinian, on her show debut she won Best of Breed and Best Section 4 kitten!
In Australia the next day Kimara cats continued to shine:
- At the GCCFV three-ring St Patrick's Day show in Victoria GrCh Kimara Metallica Blu Kaschmia (RUS a) won Best Group 3 Adult and reserve Best Group 3 Adult, with her son also placing well
- And at the CatsQLD show in Queensland Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special (RUS a) won three x Best Shorthair Alter and Supreme Shorthair Exhibit in Show - way to go, gorgeous George!
 
     
 

9-10 March 2019 - Lancashire show; Northern Ireland Cat Club; show in Australia
It was a great weekend for RACCS breeds, with 'best' wins at three different shows in three different countries. In England, it was the Lancashire show on Saturday, with 9 Russian Blues and 6 Abyssinians entered, all three Olympian entrants winning their certificates, two new title holders and two best of variety winners as well. First of all, congratulations to our new title winners:
- Olympian Bronze IGrPr Melkelter Andris Kuzma (RUS a)
- Grand Champion Aucuparia's Julius (ABY n)
Congratulations also to our BOV winners:
- Dushenka Annabella (RUS a) who won Best of Breed and Best Section 4 Kitten
- and the RACCS Star of the Show, Sup UK OBIGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b), continued his winning ways by taking the Olympian certificate in another strong class, Best of Breed, Best Section 4 Adult, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit, and down to the final three cats at best in show!
On the same day, over in Northern Ireland mother and daughter won the neuter and adult best of Breed awards, with daughter being our star of the show - many congratulations to Liscoltyn Princess Amirah (RUS a) on winning her first Challenge certificate, Best of Breed and Best Section 4 Exhibit!
And in West Australia at a three-ring show the next day, three cats won new titles, and there were a good number of top ten placings and a supreme best win too! Congratulations first of all to a litter of Bluebebop Russian Black kittens who won Best Litter in all three rings. Many congratulations also to our new title-winners, and top ten winners:
- Bluebebop Summer Samba (RUS a) on her show debut won 3rd Best and 4th Best Kitten in Show
- Champion Bluebebop Jazz Prelude (RUS a), won her new title and 7th Best entire cat
- Champion Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n) won her new title and 5th Best entire cat
- Grand Champion Bluebebop Jaco Pastorius (RUS a) won his Grand title, Best Entire cat in Show and Supreme Cat in Show in one ring, and reserve Best Foreign Shorthair Cat in Show in another.

Great news from the FCCQ show in Queensland, Australia, where in four rings gorgeous George - Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special (RUS a) - won two BIS Desexed, a 3rd Best Desexed and a 5th Best Desexed, and finished his day as Overall Supreme Exhibit in Show!
 
     
  22-24 February 2019 - Coventry & Leicester show, show in Australia
There were two Abyssinians and one Russian entered at the Cov&Leics show. Sadly the Russian was absent, but both Abys won their Best of Breed. In Australia at the Cats Queensland show the next day, it was the turn of Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special (RUS a) to wow the judges again, winning Best in Show Shorthair Alter and Supreme Shorthair Exhibit !
 
     
 

9 February 2019 - Croydon/Southern Counties shows
There were 8 Russian Blue and 2 Abyssinians entered at the Croydon/Southern Counties shows, with one double winner and a Best of Variety winner as well:

2 February 2019 - Gwynedd/Shropshire shows
There were 13 Abyssinians and 8 Russian Blues entered at the Gwynedd/Shropshire shows with some fantastic results for our breeds, including 11 double winners, 5 new titles, 4 best of variety winners and a major breed first too!
Starting with that breed first... Huge congratulations to the one and only Onesie, now to be known as Olympian Gold Imperial Grand Champion Linczozo Cat's Pyjamas (ABY n) - the first-ever Gold-titled Abyssinian!
Congratulations to our other new title winners, double winners, and red card day winners:
- Sup UK & Olympian Silver IGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b), won the reserve Olympian, Olympian and his latest title
- Imperial Grand Champion Abydreames Gett-Off (ABY n) won the Imperial certificate in both show and his new title

19 January 2019 - Short Haired Cat Society show
There were six Russians and five Abyssinians at the SHCS show, who won all their best of breed awards, two enjoying red card daysand seven certificates between them - including a Merit certificate for a super-rare sex-linked Red Abyssininian girl - and one best in show winner too!
Many congratulations to our red card day winners:
- GrCh Abydreames Gett Off (ABY n) who as well as winning all his classes, also won Best of Breed and his fourth Imperial certificate in a really strong class
- IGrCh Miakush Asgier Zeus (RUS a), who also took Best of Breed alongside 1st in all his classes, including his first Olympian certificate
But our RACCS Star of the Show today was a little Russian Blue baby, Dushenka Annabella, who won Best of Breed, Best Section 4 Kitten, and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit!
Judges and exhibitors were all given special rosettes to award to their personal pick on the day, and we spotted a Judge's Choice rosette on Annabella's pen, and Exhibitor's Choice rosettes adorning the pens of GrCh Highlight MungoJerrie (ABY b) and Dushenka Zinevra (RUS a).

5 January 2019– Scottish Cat Club/West of Scotland Cat Club shows
There was a pretty amazing lineup of 21 Russian Blues and 12 Abyssinians at the first show of the year - with amazing results to match! We had four new title winners, 13 'double' winners, including two double Olympian winners!, five BOV winners and two BIS winners, just to top off the day.

- Grand Champion Makima Angelite (RUS a), who won the reserve Grand in one show and her qualifying Grand in the other show

Our household pet Star of the Show was only entered in the West of Scotland show (leaving his litter brother to win in the Scottish!) and won Best in Colour, Best NPP Kitten, Best in Show NPP exhibit and Overall Best in Show Household Pet - quite a debut!
The RACCS pedigree Star of the Show was the one and only SupUKOBIGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b), who won Best of Breed in both shows, the Olympian in both shows, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in both shows and Overall Best in Show in the West of Scotland show!
And the following weekend in Poland, congratulations are due to Champion Truevine Bertana (NEB) who won her third CAC and title.
