20 November 2020 - Edinburgh & East of Scotland Cat Club on-line show
Results from the Edinburgh on-line Halloween-themed show were announced, with great results for RACCS cat GMC Mac (PPS a), who won the 'Bubbling Cauldron' class for AOC cat, and was 3rd at Overall Best in Show out of over a thousand entries! Here he is, posing proudly with his rosette :)


 
     
 

1 November 2020 - show in West Australia
Today was the Halloween Show for COAWA in West Australia, a three-ring show with two Russian Blues and two Russian Blacks enjoying a great day. Many congratulations to:
- Sapphire Double Grand Champion Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n), who won her certificate in all three rings, qualifying her for her new title.
- Champion Bluebebop Jazz Destiny (RUS a), continuing his winning ways, he won his title in the minimum time possible, plus two Best OFSH wins and 4th Best Entire in Show (all breeds)
- Champion Bluebebop Jazz Bliss (RUS a), like her litter brother Destiny, won her title in the minimum possible number of shows and won reserve Best OFSH in two rings
- Pyret Princess Ebony Concerto (RUS n) on her show debut won Best OFSH kitten in one ring, and 4th Best Kitten in Show (all breeds)

24 October 2020 - The Supreme Show
Today should have been the GCCF's Supreme Show, which like all other shows was cancelled due to the restrictions of COVID-19. So instead, here's a roll-call of some of the most notable wins for RACCS breeds over the last 10 years - and here's to the Supreme being back bigger and better than ever in 2021!

2010 - 52 cats of RACCS breeds entered
Best of Variety Foreign Adult: IGrCh Glendavan Roderick-Jaynes (ABY n) - and runner up to the Supreme adult

2011 - 41 cats of RACCS breeds entered

No Best of Variety wins this year, but four RACCS cats won their UK titles!

  18 October 2020 - Australian on-line show results
Today saw the results released from the Russian Cat Council of Australia's on-line show, and there were some fantastic results for RACCS cats too! There was a fabulous line-up of 55 cats in all three colours, who were judged in four rings. Full results can be seen in the videos published on the RCCA's page, but here are the edited highlights. Congratulations go to:
- EGIC Tyana Czar Luhezar (Louie) who won Best Male Adult in two rings
- Alyona Zarya (Louie's daughter) who won Best Spay in two rings
- Alyona Tsarskaya Tania (Louie and Minka's great-granddaughter) who won overall Best Kitten in one ring
- Alyona Undina (also Louie's daughter) who won overall Best Kitten in two rings
Special congratulations go to Ch Alyona Jasminka who won Supreme Exhibit in two rings and overall Supreme Exhibit across all four rings! Many congratulations to Minka and her proud owner, Maartje Schoenmaker.
 
     
  27 September 2020 - show in West Australia
More show wins to celebrate today from down-under, for two Russian Blues and two Nebelungs at a three-ring show in West Australia:
- Bluebebop Jazz Destiny (RUS a) continued his winning ways at his first adult show, winning all three Challenge Certificates, placing as Top Group 3 adult in two rings, and being awarded reserve Best Entire (All Breeds), 3rd Best Entire and 7th Best Entire
- Bluebebop Jazz Bliss (RUS a) also won all three Challenge Certificates at her first adult show, but ceded gracefully to her litter brother in the ring placings
- Bluebebop Aelfwynn (NEB) also won all three Challenge Certificates at her first adult show, the first-ever Australian-born Nebelung to win a challenge certificate!
- Bluebebop Zymny Eowynn (NEB), Aelfwynn's baby sister, enjoyed a good show debut winning 4th Best Kitten (All Breeds), and two 5th Best Kitten awards in her three rings.
 
     
  24 August 2020 - show in West Australia
Even though there won't be any GCCF shows until 2021, there was a show win for a Russian Blue to celebrate today, at a CatsWA show: many congratulations to Brz GrPr Kimara Azar Whistling Jack who won Best Desexed Group 3 Exhibit in one ring, and an ACF Award of Excellence too!
 
     
 

9 May 2020 - Nor'East of Scotland Cat Club on-line show
There may not be any physical cat shows underway at present, but many clubs are being inventive in ways of running competitions. Today the results of the Dundee Virtual Cat Show were announced, with some great placings for RACCS cats. Best Ears saw Russian Blue girl Zosha - Koreshka Zosha Koslovska - in the placings; Rudi (GrCh Koreshka Rudi Snaffleovski) was 7th in the 'Poseur' Dude class; In the Senior Citizens classes it was the turn of RACCS pets to shine, with the much-loved and sorely missed IGMC Thunder winning top 14-15 year old (a previous RACCS COTY winner), and Molly placing 3rd in the 16-20 year old class. The infamous Nebelung Monty came 9th in the Naughtiest Cat or Kitten class - knowing his propensities in real life I'm amazed he didn't come in higher! But the RACCS Star of the Show - again! - was the ever-lovely Trudi, UK & OSIGrCh AbyDreames Specsappeal - who was overall Best of Variety in the Any Princess class!

  14 March 2020 - Surrey & Sussex show
There were five Russian Blues in the placings at the Surrey & Sussex show, with special congratulations due to Champion Larksong Jackson Blackheart on winning his title in the minimum possible number of shows.
 
     
 

7-8 March 2020 - Northern Ireland Cat Club; show in Australia
There were seven Russian Blues entered at the NICC show, all seven winners, with one new title winner and one BOV winner too. Many congratulations to:
- Grand MasterCat Mac (PPS a) on winning his third, and qualifying Grand certificate and Best in Colour
- UK & IGrCh Dushenka Rafael (RUS a) who won Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 Adult.
And at a COAWA show in West Australia there were some fantastic results with a special mention going to the first Australian-bred Nebelung to be shown:
- Bluebebop Aelfwynn (NEB), who won 7th best Kitten and 8th Best Kitten - all breeds, plus the ACF special rosette
Many congratulations also to the four cats who qualified for new titles:
- Double Grand Champion Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n)
- Diamond Grand Champion Bluebebop Atavachron (RUS a)
- Ruby Grand Champion Bluebebop Oscar Peterson (RUS n)
- Champion Bluebebop Sweetest Taboo (RUS a), who also placed 4th in two rings
But the Star of the Show was a seven-month old kitten...
- Bluebebop Jazz Destiny (RUS a) at just his second show did it again by winning Supreme Exhibit in Show!

 
     
  1 March 2020 - Australian show, show in the Netherlands
Great news from the FCCQ show in Australia, where gorgeous George, Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special (RUS a),won two Best in Show Shorthair Desexed and two reserve bests too!
On the same day, over in the Netherlands there were some great results for the six Russians and six Abyssinians enterd. Congratulations go to:
- Champion Alyona Neomir Nikiforovich (RUS a) who won his third CAC and title, Best Russian Exhibit and was nominated for BIS as well
- Alyona Poema Pushkina (RUS a) who won her CAC, and was also nominated for BIS
Special congratulations go to best in show winners:
- Gr Eur Ch Aqua's Banji von Lovely Asta (ABY n) who won Best in Show SH Adult female
- Gr Int Ch Mellow Meru from A'far (ABY o) who won Best in Show SH male adult

  22 February 2020 - Coventry & Leicester show, show in Australia
There were 5 Abyssinians and 5 Russians in all three colours entered at the Cov&Leics show with two new title winners. Many congratulations to:
- Premier Kremlinkatz Alferei (RUS a) on winning his qualifying Premier certificate
- Champion Sithee Pearl Noir (RUS n) who won his qualifying Challenge certificate and Best of Breed
 
     
  15 February 2020 - show in France
Congratulations today to Grand European Champion Regalrusians Nikhil (RUS a) who won his qualifying CAGCE and was nominated for BIS too. Congratulations also to his two babies, his daughter Pilvi du Jardins des Agapanthes (RUS a) who was nominated for BIS and his son Nimbati's Toruk (NEB) who was also nominated for BIS.
 
     
 

8-9 February 2020 - Croydon/Southern Counties shows; show in Australia
There were ten Russian Blues and five Abyssinians entered at the Croydon/Southern Counties shows. Congratulations to:
- Grand Champion Annusia Kisa Kschessinska (RUS a) who won the Grand certificate in both shows, and her new title in the minimum possible number of shows
- Champion Sorceror Anduril (ABY os) the first silver Abyssinian to win a GCCF show title in nine years, he won the Challenge certificate and Best of Breed in both shows.
- Champion Syrinx Tatiana (ABY n) won her third, and qualifying, Challenge certificate
- Abychat Blue-Suede-Shoes (ABY a) just entered in the Southern Counties show, he enjoyed a red card day - 1st in every class and Best of Breed
- Abydreames Isis (ABY n) won Best of Breed in both shows
- Dushenka Delukiel (RUS a) on his show debut at just 3.5 months old won Best of Breed in both shows, and Best Section 4 Kitten in the Southern Counties show
At the QFA Summer Show in Australia the next day, gorgeous George had another great day, winning two Best in Show awards and a sixth best - well done again!

 
     
 

1 February 2020 - Gwynedd/Shropshire shows
There were 5 Abyssinians and 14 Russian Blues entered at the Gwynedd/Shropshire shows with six double winners, four new title winners, and three best of variety winners too! First of all, congratulations to:
- Grand Champion Larksong Last Tango (RUS a) won the Grand in both shows and his new title
- Champion Siarus Dakota (RUS a) just entered in the Gwynedd show, she won her third, and qualifying Challenge certificate
- Champion Siarus Ermolova Maria (RUS a) just entered in the Shropshire show, she also won her third, and qualifying Challenge certificate
- Sithee Pearl Noir (RUS n) won the Challenge certificate and Best of Breed in both shows, his first time out as an adult
- Syrinx Vilja (ABY n) won the Challenge certificate and Best of Breed in both shows, her first time out as an adult
- Kremlinkatz Alferei (RUS a) won the Premier certificate in both shows
- OSIGrPr Melkelter Andris Kuzma (RUS a) won the reserve Olympian in both shows and Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 Neuter in the Gwynedd show
- IGrPr Melkelter Sybilla Luba (RUS a) won the reserve Olympian, Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 Neuter in the Shropshire show
Extra-special congratulations to the RACCS Star of the Show:
- Sup UK Olympian Gold IGrCh Linczozo Javier Fernandez (ABY b) who won Best of Breed in both shows, the Olympian in both show - making him a Gold Olympian - Best Section 4 Adult in both shows and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in both shows - doing it in style as always!

 
     
  26 January 2020 - LH SLH & AB Cat Club show
An unusual date for a GCCF show, being on a Sunday rather than the usual Saturday. There were six Russian Blues, and two Abyssinians entered, with two best of variety winners too:
- UK & IGrCh Dushenka Rafael won the reserve Olympian and Best Section 4 Adult
- GrCh & Pr Curtilla Penumbra (RUS a) won her Grand certificate, Best Section 4 Neuter and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit!
 
     
 

18 January 2020 - Short Haired Cat Society show
There were four Russians in all three colours, and two Abyssinians at the SHCS show. Extra-special congratulations to the RACCS Star of the Show, making an amazing show debut...
- Abydreames Sekhmet (ABY n) , who won Best of Breed, Best Section 4 Kitten, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit... and Overall Best in Show!

 
     
 

4 January 2020 – Capital LH & ABCC/ Eastern LH SLH & AB shows
A great start to the year with three Russian Blues entered in these shows, two of them winning new titles. Congratulations to:
- Grand Champion Troika Chastushka (RUS a) who won her third, and qualifying, Grand certificate
- Ch & Premier Troika Alyosha Popovich, who won the Premier certificate in both shows, and his new title
