  This was another year with very limited GCCF shows, due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, we were still very happy to be able to celebrate the successes of our overseas club members, and also winners from various virtual (online) shows too.  
     
     
 

10 October 2021 - show in Australia
Congratulations to our winners at the Cats WA show in Bassendean, WA on 10 October:
- Bluebebop Coco Candy Crush (RUS a) won the Challenge in all four rings
- Champion Bluebebop Bluebebop Scrapple from the Apple (RUS n) won his four Challenges, his new title and reserve Best Group 3 Entire in one ring
- Bluebebop Jazz Groove (RUS a) at his first adult show and just 9.5 months old, won all four Challenges too, an ACF AoE, Best Junior Exhibit in one ring, 3rd Best Entire Group 3 Exhibit in one ring, and Best Entire Group 3 Exhibit in another ring! Obviously taking after his dad, ACF AoE Ruby Gr Ch Bluebebop Jazz Destiny :)

 
     
  2 October 2021 - Havana & Oriental Lilac CC show
No cats of RACCS breeds could enter this specialist breed show, but there were good results for a RACCS pet - many congratulations to Sup K IGMC Tigeress on winning her Olympian certificate and Best of Colour!
 
     
  4-5 September 2021 - Wyvern show, TICA show in Scotland
4 September saw the second GCCF show since the easing of restrictions, and another well-managed and enjoyable show . There were nine Russians entered, in all three colours, with new title winners in all three colours too. Many congratulations to:
- Imperial Grand Champion Dushenka Viola Heartsease (RUS a) who won her qualifying Imperial certificate
- Champion Sithee Diamond Cascade (RUS w 64), won her title in the minimum number of shows, at just 10.5 months old
- Champion Dushenka Hollyhock (RUS a) - again, won her title in the minimum number of shows, at just over a year old
- Champion Bluebebop Blackstar Bowie (RUS n), also won his title in the minimum number of shows
- Premier Dushenka Zelenka (RUS a) won her qualifying Premier certificate and Best of Breed
Congratulations to everyone!
A special mention also goes to RACCS pet IGMC Rainaech Rioghail, now 9 years old, who went to the TICA show in Scotland on 4-5 September (the first there for quite some time), winning 9 rings and finishing his two days as a Double Grand Master (tbc) - well done to Rayne and his proud owner!
 
     
  28 August 2021 - West of England & South Wales CS Virtual Show
Congratulations to our class winners in this virtual show, with Brumeux Man Ov Steel (NEB) winning the AC NFC, Somali, Turkish or Nebelung class, and Highlight Bengeman (ABY ns) winning the AC Abyssinian, Russian, Singapura, Korat, Thai or Snowshoe class. Well done to these handsome boys, and their proud owners.
 
     
 

20 August 2021 - The GCCF Virtual Celebratory Show
Results from the GCCF's virtual show were published today. There were 74 cats entered in Section 4 and Russian Blues prominent in the placings, but sadly no Abyssinian entries. We were delighted to see GrCh Annusia Kisa Kschessinska winning Top Section 4 adult female out of a lineup of 11 stunning girls. In the male neuter class Russian Blues took 4th through 7th places in another very strong class, so congratulations to Melkelter Koryaksky; followed by Kremlinkatz Rudi-Blu; Shoelina Senkevich; and Kremlinkatz Mirad (Chase) . In the female neuter class Melkelter Natasha Romanoff was 3rd in another highly competitive class, followed by Shoelina Diamond Jubilee (6th); Shoelina Kira Katyuslia (9th); and Salsa of Happy Song (10th). There were more great placings in the kitten classes with Regalrussians Kibo placing 7th in the male class; Annusia Larissa Romanova placing 4th in the female class and Pollywoffles Amazing Grace 7th.
In Section 2, Nebelungs were successfully represented by Brumeux Man Ov Steel who placed 7th in the male neuter class out of 35 handsome cats!

14 August 2021 - GCCF Celebration Show
This show was a double celebration - celebrating the sesquicentennial (150th) anniversary of the first-ever cat show, which was held in Crystal Palace in 1871 - plus this was the first GCCF show to be held in nearly 18 months due to pandemic restrictions. The show managers had gone out of their way to devise a show format that was as safe as possible for all participants, and was a happy and positive event, with double certificates for the double celebration. It was fantastic to see a good representation of RACCS breeds with 12 Russians in all three colours, three Abyssinians in three different colours, and two RACCS pets entered and all present.
First of all, many congratulations to our two new title winners:
- Imperial Grand Champion Troika Bylina (RUS a), who we believe also won her first Olympian certifiate!
- Grand Premier Dushenka Veronica Speedwell (RUS a), who also won her first Imperial certificate
Congratulations also to the other certificate winners:
- GrPr Serennol Gizzy (RUS n) who won two reserve Imperial certificates and Best of Breed
- Ch Sithee Pearl Noir (RUS n) who won two Grand certificates his first time in the grand class
- Ch & Pr Troika Alyosha Popovich (RUS a) who also won two Grand certificates his first time in the grand class
- Abydreames Usual Suspect (ABY n) won two Challenge certificates and Best of Breed on her, and her owner's, show debut
- Bluebebop Blackstar Bowie (RUS n) won two Challenge certificates and Best of Breed on his UK show debut
- Sithee Diamond Cascade (RUS w 64) won two Challenge certificates on her show debut
- Dushenka Zelenka (RUS a) won two Premier certificates
And congratulations to Quapaw Luna Lovegood (ABY p) on winning Best of Breed fawn Abyssinian kitten at just 5 months and 8 days old.
Congratulations also to the two RACCS pets:
- SupK & IGMC Tigeress (NPS n 09 22) - reserve Olympian and Best in Colour winner
- GMC Mac (PPS a) - Imperial winner
A special mention goes to Quapaw Caravelle (ABY q) who won two Challenge certificates and Best of Breed, making her the GCCF's first sex-linked colour Abyssinian to win certificates since those colours gained Championship status!
Special congratulations go to our Best of Variety winners:
- Lapochka Alfred-Aster (RUS a) at just 3 months and 22 days old won Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 kitten, a fantastic show debut for him, and for the Lapochka prefix!
and his older half-sister, our RACCS Star of the Show
- Dushenka Hollyhock (RUS a) on her show debut at 11.5 months old won two Challenge certificates, Best of Breed, Best of Variety Section 4 Adult and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit!

 
     
 

1 August 2021 - show in Australia
At the Cats WA all breeds 4-ring show today there were some great results for the Russians again. Ch Bluebebop Sweetest Taboo (RUS a) won all four challenges, an ACF Award of Merit, and Best Group 3 Female in one ring, plus 4th Best Group 3 Entire. Bluebebop Scrapple from the Apple (RUS n) started his adult show career in style, also winning four Challenge certificates, and a 3rd Best Group 3 Entire. But the star of the show again was ACF AoE Ruby Gr Ch Bluebebop Jazz Destiny (RUS a) who had a fantastic day, winning four Challenges, another ACF award, Best Entire Section 3, Best in Group Section 3 and Supreme Exhibit in Show in one ring. Well done again Dennis!

Huge congratulations again to Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special, who at the four-ring FCCQ show today won three Best in Show Shorthair Alter awards, and one reserve Best in Show - gorgeous George is keeping the Russian flag flying high!

At the CABCC show in New Zealand today the ever-lovely Nibbles, Gold Double Gr Ch Kimara Metallica Blu Sumfin Special (RUS a) enjoyed another excellent day after a long gap, winning two x 2nd Best in Show, a 3rd Best in Show, and a 7th Best in Show. Long may Lucy's legacy shine x
 
     
  6 June 2021 - show in Australia
There were more great show results today from the Chinchilla & Shaded Cat Fanciers all-breed show in Claremont, W Australia., with two new title winners, including an Australian 'breed first', and excellent top ten results as well. Many congratulations to:
- ACF AoE & Ruby GrCh Bluebebop Jazz Destiny (RUS a) on winning his Ruby title, two 3rd Best Entire (all breeds) and one 6th best Entire
- Ch Bluebebop Summer Samba (RUS a) who won another three Challenges, plus a 7th , 8th and 10th Best Entire
In the kitten category two Russian cousins were vying for placings in some very strong competition - including each other!
- Bluebebop Scrapple from the Apple (RUS n) won Best Kitten in Show and 'judge's fancy' in one ring, plus a 5th and 10th Best - great results for a young Russian Black
- Bluebebop Jazz Groove (RUS a) won a 3rd Best, 4th Best, and 8th Best Kitten
Special congratulations go to Grand Champion Oop Bop Sh'Bam du Fort de la Bosse Marniere (NEB), the first-ever Nebelung in Australia to win a grand title, and also awarded a 6th Best Adult!

At the FCCQ show it was another great day for ACF Emerald AoE PDGC Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special, who won Best in Show Desexed Shorthair cat in all four rings, and Best All Breeds Exhibit on one ring. Many congratulations to gorgeous George and his proud owner!
 
     
  16 May 2021 - show in Australia
Today there was another COAWA show in W Australia, with special congratulations due to Grand Champion Bluebebop Jazz Bliss 9RUS a) on winning her certificates in all three rings, her new title and 3rd best Adult in Show (all breeds) in one ring. Baby kitten Bluebebop Jazz Groove (RUS a) won two x 9th Best Kitten (all breeds), and his cousin Bluebebop Scrapple from the Apple (RUS n) won a 4th best Kitten in Show (all breeds) and 7th Best Kitten in Show (all breeds). Nebelung lady Ch Oop Bop Sh Bam du Fort de la Bosse Marniere was back out on the bench and won three certificates towards her next title too. Congratulations to everyone!
 
     
  11 April 2021 - show in Australia
Today there was a COAWA show (W Australia) with three new titles. Special congratulations to Dennis on winning two new titles: his qualifying ACF award, so is now ACF AoE Sapphire GrCh Bluebebop Jazz Destiny (RUS a), as well as a 3rd Best Adult and 7th Best Adult. His litter sister Ch Bluebebop Jazz Bliss (RUS a) won a 6th Best Adult, and now just needs one more certificate for her next title. Congratulations also to Ruby Double GrCh Bluebebop Jazz Serenade (RUS n) on qualifying for her new title, and Bluebebop Scrapple from the Apple (RUS n) on winning 6th Best Kitten (all breeds).
 
     
 

28 March 2021 - shows in Australia
At the QFA show today gorgeous George, ACF Emerald AoE Diamond DGC Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special, lived up to his name yet again winning two Best in Show Desexed, a 4th and a 6th. He also won a Breeder's Award of Merit for his breeder Lucy Nikiforos - gone but not forgotten.
More good results from W Australia, with the Cats United Welcome Back two-ring show being a good one for the Russians. In one ring Bluebebop Scrapple from the Apple (RUS n) won Best Russian and Best Shorthair Kitten, against some strong competition. His uncle Bluebebop Jazz Destiny (RUS a) won reserve Best Russian. Dble GrCh Bluebeop Jazz Serenade (RUS n) won both her Challenges, as did Bluebebop Jazz Bliss (RUS a).

 
     
  21 March 2021 - show in Australia
More good results from W Australia, with Bluebebop Scrapple from the Apple (RUS n) winning reserve Best Group 3 Kitten in very strong competition; Champion Pyret Princess Ebony Concerto (RUS n) and Champion Bluebebop Summer Samba (RUS a) winning their new titles, and Summer placing 3rd and 4th Best Entire Group 3 exhibit as well. Special congratulations to Grand Champion Bluebebop Jazz Destiny (RUS a) who was made up to grand, won an ACF AoE and won a Best Group 3 Entire as well - well done Dennis!

Good results from the CatsWA Valentine's day two-ring show in Bassendean, W Australia, with Pyret Princess Ebony Concerto (RUS n) winning both her Challenge certificates and reserve Best Group 3 Entire and Ch Bluebebop Jazz Destiny (RUS a) winning his Challenges and Best Group 3 Entire, plus two ACF Awards of Excellence!
 
     
 

7 February 2021 - show in Australia ....
It was gorgeous George's first show in nearly a year at the QICC show today - many congratulations to ACF Emerald AoE, Platinum DGC Kimara Blu Shimma Kinda Special on winning two Best in Show Shorthair Desexed and one 3rd Best in Show - he certainly hasn't lost his touch!
