17.04.10 - Shorthair Cat Club of Scotland
There were eight Russian Blues and 18 Abyssinians entered, today, although sadly quite a few absentees. Judges had a very busy day as two judges had planned to fly to the show, but were not able to due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland.
It was a great day for RACCS breeds with two new title winners and three cats enjoying 'red card' days. Special congratulations are therefore due to:
- Champion Troika Ivan Tsarevich (16a), on winning his third Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed
- Imperial Grand Champion and Premier Pontaby Fragola (23a), who won her neuter title in three straight shows
- Grand Champion Glendavan Roderick-Jaynes (23), who won his second Imperial Certificate, Best of Breed and 1st in all his classes
- Troika Goncharova (16a), on winning 1st in all classes and Best of Breed again - her open judge described her as a "super girl!" on the results slip
- Premier Glendavan Leonidas (23), who won the Grand, Premier, Best of Breed and 1st in all classes - just like his litter brother Roderick-Jaynes
